Ten years ago when I became involved with a camp for foster children on a yearly basis. I saw how much the camp impacted the kids as I was with them.

They were able to see their value, and how much they were loved no matter what kind of feelings or background they had experienced. I felt a calling and a passion stirring in my heart to want to help them more than just once a year.

My desire to start a nonprofit that included horses stemmed from how much my own horse helped me in my healing journey of trauma from abuse in my previous marriage. Through the healing of God’s unconditional love, I was able to provide a safe and loving environment for my own children to grow, to heal, to be who they are, and to experience God’s love through it all.

That early vision became a reality in October 2018 to serve kids, who have a history of foster care or adoption, a safe place to be seen, valued, and unconditionally loved through the use of horses and other creative activities.
