Reclaiming Hope Ranch is a mentor-based program designed to give kids, who are in or have been through the foster care system, a safe place to be who they are. A child can experience a simple desire to play and engage with different types of activities whether it be with horses, creative activities, or playing on the ranch. They learn about themselves and discover gifts or talents that maybe they didn’t know existed because they were merely trying to survive. In the 90-minute sessions, the child will experience two safe and trained adults coming alongside them to play, to talk, and love them as they are.

“For kids that have come from hard places, research has discovered, that when they play, it brings down the chemistry of fear, and brings up the chemistry of healing. When children learn to laugh and giggle, they can’t be terrified anymore.”
